Paramount Ruler of Atyap, visits ECWA Windows Training School IDP Camp, Samaru Kataf.

The paramount ruler of Atyap Chiefdom, Zango-Kataf Local Government of Kaduna State, the Agwatyap, His Royal Highlights, Sir Dominic Gambo Yahaya has visited the ECWA Windows Training School lnternally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp in Samaru Kataf where he empathized and donated 500,000 Naira to improve the condition of the over 6,000 IDPs in the camp.
Sir Domnic Yahaya who also handed over 150,000 Naira donation and seven boxes of clothing from the Knights of Saint Mulumba, St John’s Sub council said he was on a first-hand assessment of the lDPs so as to draw attention of global citizens in coming to their aid and better their condition of living.
While calling on government both at all levels to do the needful towards security the displaced communities for safe return of the lDPs, the Agwatyap charged the people to build on the peace effort embarked on by the chiefdom for the desired results to be achieved.
Some of the lDPs also spoke on the challenges they are faced with in the camp.
Coordinator of the ECWA Training Widows IDP Camp, Reverend Victor Elisha Yahya, while thanking the Agwatyap for being the first person to donate over 30 bags of 50 kilograms of Rice and other numerous support, called on government at all levels, organizations and spirited individuals to provide support to better the condition of the IDPs.
