World Egg Day: Nigerians called on deepening Nutritional, Business values of eggs.

The World Egg Day celebrated every year on the second Friday of October is done to raise awareness about the benefits of eggs and bring about the need to keep the egg business secured.
The first World Egg Day was observed in the year 1996 at the IEC Vienna and is celebrated in more than 40 countries across the globe as this year is a special which marks its 25th anniversary.
In Kaduna, the Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN) marked the day with the theme: Eat Your Egg Today and Every Day, by distributing free eggs to the public on the streets and in the hospitals to encourage a healthy and dietary society.
