Nigeria’s progress hampered by sluggish, beggarly judiciary system – Yusuf Dan Kofa

Written by on September 26, 2021

Nigeria’s progress as a global player is been hampered by the sluggish and beggarly judiciary system currently operating.

A Professor of Law from the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Professor Yusuf Dan Kofa stated this while providing answers as a guest about the Judiciary on Invicta FM’S Political Programme Perspectives.

He believes the disparity among the federal and state judiciaries financially has constantly led to conflict and made the 3rd arm of government a laughing stock.

The Public Affairs Analyst wants the reforms such as financial independence of the judiciary done constantly especially the State Judiciaries who are becoming lap dogs for the state Governments.

Dan kofa encouraged people to make use of the wide reach of the court in getting justice for matters they are not comfortable with.
