Chairman-elect, Jema’a Local Government, Honourable Yohanna Barde, was among the 16 Local Government Chairmen-elect that were issued Certificates of Return, by Kaduna State lndependent Electoral Commission (KADSIECOM).
Yohanna Barde was returned as winner of the election under the APC, however, the Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Dr Saratu Binta Dikko-Audu, while certifying the results last Friday, declared the election inconclusive.
Speaking at the Certificate presentation, the SIECOM Chairman, Dr Dikko-Audu advised the council members-elect, who won the September 4 Council elections in Kaduna State, to be upright in victory through inclusive governance.

In his remark, the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Balarabe Abbas Lawal who was represented by the Permanent Secretary in-Charge of Cabinet, Mr. Nuhu Buzun challenged the newly elected council leaders to consider their new positions as call to service.
Certificates of Return were also issued to the Vice Chairmen-elect and Councillors-elect in all the 16 Local Government Areas where election results were certified, while run-off elections are expected to hold next week Saturday in council areas where results were declared inconclusive.
