Catholic Archbishop of Kaduna Dioceses, calls on all to contribute in Peace Project for Nigeria.

The Catholic Archbishop of Kaduna Dioceses, His Grace, Most Reverend Dr. Matthew Man Oso Ndagoso has decried the absence of peace in the country, calling on every Nigerian to contribute in the Peace Project for the country to achieve desired development.
Dr. Ndagoso stated this at an event to mark this year’s World Peace Day organized by Zaman Tare – a peace mediation organization, at the Kaduna State University, Kaduna.
Also speaking, the Dan Galadiman Zazzau and the District Head of Gabasawa, Alhaji Shittu Ibrahim Dikko reiterated the need for communal integration, as it was practiced in the past.
Speaking on the essence of the programme, the Project Coordinator of Zaman Tare, Barrister Cletus Aloke from the Catholic Caritas Foundation, said the event was a grant finale of series of activities to use the instrumentality of art to promoted peace in celebrating this year’s World Peace Day.
Zaman Tare which has the support of the European Union, is carrying out mediation activities in Nigeria and Niger Republic. And in Nigeria, the organization focuses its activities in Kaduna and Plateau States where they have set up Alternative Mediation Centres for the training of communities on peace building.
