Acting Director, Agric Services, Kaduna State Ministry of Agriculture says Agricultural Transformation fuelled by presence of International Agencies.

The Acting Director, Agric Services, Kaduna State Ministry of Agriculture, Alhaji Ya’u Kasim, has identified international agencies as key to agricultural transformation in the State.
He disclosed this in interview with Invicta FM’s Correspondent, Anthony Samuel, in Kaduna.
Kasim said international agencies such as the World Bank has played a great part in the sector.
The Acting Director Agric Services also spoke on what positive results the programmes have yielded.
He explained that the State government provided warehouses for fertilizer blending companies in order for them to sell quality products, which will in turn, determine their marketability to farmers.
Kasim equally noted that Kaduna State Government has provided an enabling environment for fertilizer blending companies to operate without running at loss or without having to pay heavy tax or levies.
