Kaduna state Commissioner of Health, calls on Citizens to continually observe Covid-19 safety protocols.

The Kaduna state Commissioner of Health, Dr Amina Baloni, has called on called on Citizens of the State continue to observe Covid-19 safety protocols as they go about their activities.
She made the call during a press briefing on the flag- off of the second phase of Covid-19 vaccination programme which will run for the next 28 days.
The Commissioner said Kaduna State has received 131,963 doses of Moderna vaccines, adding that the State has adequate storage of distribution plans to reach all the 23 local government areas.
Dr Baloni maintained that the target for the second phase of COVID-19 roll out is 18 years and above as 123 centers have been identified and designated to carry out the task in all the local government areas.
According to the Commissioner, the success of the campaign will depend on the media, religious and traditional leaders and other influential persons to give information on the safety of the vaccines and actively ensure that eligible people from 18 years and above are vaccinated.
She equally commended the religious and traditional Institutions for their overwhelming support towards immunization campaigns in the past, and solicited for their continual support in the strive to protect Children and their future.
