Kaduna High Court vacates Interim order issued restraining PDP, candidate from participating in the Lere House of Representatives seat bye election.

A Kaduna High Court, Saminaka Division has vacated an Interim Order it had issued restraining the PDP and its candidate, Barrister lbrahim Usman from participating in the Lere House of Representatives seat bye election.
The presiding Judge, Honourable Justice Ambo Y. John in his ruling, said upon hearing both counsels to the Respondents and the Applicant, vacated the lnterim order and adjourned the matter to August 18 for the main Application.
The Court judgment obtained by lnvicta FM, was signed by Justice Ambo John and the Register, Khalid Musa Ahmed respectively.
One Joan Manchapa ldris had on Monday secured the lnterim lnjunction challenging among other things, the violation and contravening of her fundamental rights to freedom from discrimination and protection of her interest in the PDP.
When contacted, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Alhaji Sani Abdulfattah, joined in the case, confirmed vacation of the lnterim Order.
Also speaking, the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Abraham Albera Catoh assured of the party’s readiness to win the Lere bye election, preparatory to the 2023 general election.
