Marshall Katung Foundation Financially helps 100 Tertiary Students.

In a bid to help cushion the financial hardship faced by indigent students, the Marshall Katung Foundation gave out support to one hundred students in the tertiary institutions.

A Member of the screening committee, Barrister Gloria Mabiem Balason, stated this in an interview with Invicta FM’s Correspondent, Anthony Samuel, shortly after the presentation of award letters to the benefitting Students in Kaduna.

On the requirement to meet before meriting the support, Barrister Balason said the Committee subjected them to screening and interviews.

The Legal expert also spoke on the importance of giving to help lift those in need.

The Beneficiaries of the support expressed gratitude for the gesture and called on wealthy individuals to assist the less privileged.

The Marshall Katung Foundation’s scholarship initiative comes at a time when both students and are bemoaning the sharp increase in tuition fees by the Management of tertiary institutions in Kaduna State.
