Kaduna State Government continues to set the pace with its unique governance mechanisms to help liberate citizens from harsh economic actions.
The Commissioner of Planning and Budget Commission in the State Thomas Gyang made this known at a one-day round table Media engagement on the State Social Register (SSR) and the Rapid Response Register (RRR), organized by the State Operations Coordinating Unit (SOCU) in collaboration with JALAD media Concept.
Gyang represented by the Acting Permanent Secretary Mrs. Jummai Bako said the State will use all legit means to ensuring that its citizens remain the focal point of its policies.
She appreciated the efforts of SOCU for painstakingly ensuring that the state has a credible and regularly updated data base through which citizens can enjoy safety nets.
Bako commended the State Governor Nasir Elrufai, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Social Development and Disaster management Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq as well as the Focal Person Kaduna Social Investment office, Mrs. Saude Amina Atoyebi for their tremendous support.
In his opening remarks the, Executive Director, Jalad Media Concept, Joshua James, said this initiative is to ensure accountability and trust in the policies of the State Government, who is a signatory to the Open Government Initiative.
The event had various Stakeholders from the civil societies, media and government parastatals.
