Clergy emphasizes need for cordial relationship among Faith Adherents.

The General Overseer of Christ Evangelical and life Intervention Ministry, Kaduna, Pastor Yohanna Buru has stressed the need for strengthening good relationship between Christians and Muslims scholars in the state.
He disclosed this when he led a delegation of the two religious Clerics for an interaction with other scholars and dialoging on various ways of promoting peace and unity, toward strengthening better understanding among different faith base organization in the state to celebrate the UN International Friendship Day with the theme Sharing the human spirit through Good Friendship.
While Stressing that to confront those crises and challenges, their root causes must be addressed by promoting and defending a shared spirit of human solidarity that takes many forms — the simplest of which is friendship
Responding Mallam Gambo Abdullahi Barnawa, pointed out that there is a good relationship between Muslims and Christians in the state and further re-echoed the need to promote tolerance and better understanding among different faith -based organizations in the state.
While wishing all Muslims and Christians all over the world happy international friendship day, he equally drew the attention all scholars toward visiting traditional, religious believers of joining hands together in promoting religious tolerance and better understanding
It could be recalled that UN international friendship day is usually celebrated on the 30th of every month of July annually, was proclaimed in 2011 by the UN General Assembly with the idea that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities.
