Paramount ruler of Atyap Chiefdom, Zangon-Kataf, expresses deep pains on recurrent attacks in Chiefdom, appeals for peace.

The Paramount ruler of Atyap Chiefdom, Zangon-Kataf, Kaduna State, His Royal Highness, Sir Dominic Gambo Yahaya has expressed deep pains on the recurrent attacks in his Chiefdom and appealed for calm for peace to prevail in the state.
Sir Dominic who stated this today, said the attacks have brought untold and unbearable hardships to the people.
On why peace have eluded the area despite the Peace Accord signed by all communities in the Chiefdom, he blamed it on forces working towards slowing an enduring peace in chiefdom.
Speaking further, the first class chief who called for all to in the spirit of the Sallah celebrations, cease hostility and attacks, also appealed to Kaduna State and Federal Governments to see the need to compensate those whose houses were burnt and properties lost, for quick rehabilitation to ease their sufferings.
The paramount ruler enjoined all to seek for peace, as the holy book admonishes all to pursue peace with all men, noting that no matter the degree of hostility, all must still come at a roundtable to settle their differences.
