UNICEF talks of immense support in terms of Procurement, Supply and Distribution of Covid-19 vaccines.

United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund, (UNICEF) says it has been of immense support at both global and the national levels in terms of procurement, supply and distribution of Covid-19 vaccines.
A Communication Specialist of UNICEF C-Field Kaduna office, Adeola Olunloyo, stated this on Thursday during a two-day consultative meeting with health workers on Covid -19 vaccine hesitancy among health workers in Kaduna.
She said UNICEF plans to ensure the procurement of more vaccines for the second phase into Country and Kaduna State and outlined the efforts made by UNICEF in that direction.
She also disclosed that the Fund has supported the government in the area of public awareness and hoped that the efforts made so far, would improve Health workers’ trust and confidence in the safety and effectiveness of covid-19 vaccines.
The two-day consultative meeting with health workers on Covid -19 vaccine hesitancy was organized by the Kaduna State Ministry of Health in collaboration with UNICEF.
