Former Chief of Defence Staff, General Martin Luther Agwai, says Nigerians are stakeholders in ensuring security.

Nigeria’s former Chief of Defence Staff, General Martin Luther Agwai, retired, says security is not government responsibility alone.
Agwai who was the Chairman of the occasion at a one -day peace and security summit convened in Kaduna by the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Kaduna State Chapter, was represented by Brigadier-General Hassan Maman Lai, retired.
He said all Nigerians are stakeholders in security matters and attributed the problems to corruption, porous international borders, violent ideologies, unemployment amongst others, as the triggers of insecurity.
General Agwai criticized the leaders, especially legislators for not living up to expectations.
