There was a breath of relief for Members of the Public who have invested with empowerment body African Investors in Diaspora Association (AIDA) as their capital were returned to them.
The event which took place at Space 200 had over 500 investors who had not had access to their monies for a while and were attended to by members of the association headed by Dr. Philemon Ibrahim Gora.
In a chat with the Head of Marketing, Innocent Peter, he said this act was been carried out in collaboration with Nigerian Poverty Alleviation Stipends as they want to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor.
He dispelled fears over the association failing the credibility test like other similar schemes.
Peter wants the government to create the necessary environment for more investment and empowerment ideas to thrive.
In a chat with some of the investors, they expressed hope that the dark days were over and something positive will come out after the interaction.
