Grass Root Coach calls for Business Approach to Football.

A Grass root football coach, Coach Jide Bodunde has called on club owners and the government to see football as business and not just recreation.

Bodunde, who gave the charge in Kaduna, said it was time for Nigeria to invest in football so as to better the economy of the country, stressing that most European countries are making huge profits from football.

He also encouraged Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr, to consider more home-based players for the senior team as the Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL, can boost of some good and quality players.

The Former Media Personnel with Kaduna United also expressed disappointed at the unveiling of Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, by his current club, Kano Pillars.

It would be recalled that Musa, who played for VVV Venlo in the Netherlands, CSKA Moscow in Russia, Leicester City in England, and more recently, Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, returned back to his childhood club, Kano Pillars.
