The Federal Government has been urged to review women’s inclusion in leadership positions and allow more female participation.
Special Assistant to Kaduna State Government, Ahmed Nasir El-rufai, on legal matters, Barrister Rabi Adamu Musa Manchi, gave the charge on Thursday in Kaduna, at the sideline of a Child Protection Conference organized by an NGO, Aku Resource and Advocacy Centre to celebrate Children’s Day.
Barrister Manchi also advised women who are currently occupying positions in government to serve with integrity, loyalty and commitment.
She regretted that Children’s Day is no longer celebrated with the usual fun, saying that COVID-19 pandemic and insecurity bedeviling the country were responsible.
At the end of the conference a five-aside friendly football match was played between the women of Aku Resource and Advocacy Centre and the women of Hemophilia Foundation of Nigeria at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
The match ended 1-1, however, Hemophilia Foundation of Nigeria won the game 5-3 on penalties.
