Concerns on the total wellbeing of children in the nation have continue to get the attention of well-meaning Nigerians, who say, more needs to be done, especially in the educational sector.
Some of the concerns raised from callers on Invicta’s Political flagship Programme, Perspectives, in celebration of Children’s Day Celebration say, education has become really expensive; it poses a threat to the average Nigerian, adding that some of the leaders went to school on scholarships.
Furthermore, Nigerians have blamed the current situation of things in the nation, saying that, it does not support a conducive state for children to be properly groomed.
Some callers also say that, until the statement; children are the leaders of tomorrow, is taken seriously by both caregivers and the government; there might never be an improvement in the way issues pertaining to children are handled.
Meanwhile, the government across board have been called upon to do more, by increasing the standard of living of Nigerians, build solid educational systems and improve on the security of the nation, as this would in turn improve the quality of children in the country.
