The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KDIRS) says the State is developing different policies that will ease revenue collection in the state.
The Executive Chairman of the service, Zaid Abubakar, made the disclosure while presenting the agency’s score card on Invicta’s flagship political programme Perspectives.
Abubakar said the agency has organized medium and long term revenue plans that will be suitable for both the formal and informal sector.
He noted that the agency has introduced a new revenue line which will serve as a tool for reinvestment in the immediate communities.
The Head also spoke on the update about the 1000 naira levy on levy citizen who is 18 years and above in the state.
The Chairman added that the revenue administration system is working tirelessly to ensure that the revenue target is achieved and accounted for.
