NAWOJ, Kaduna State Branch seeks divine intervention over Security Matters.

The Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalists, Kaduna State Chapter, Comrade Adamu Yusuf, has called for concerted efforts from the government to tackle the problem of insecurity bedeviling the nation.

Comrade Yusuf made the call during a prayer session for Nigeria to overcome her security challenges, organized by the Nigerian Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Kaduna State branch.

Represented by the Vice Chairman of the Council, Mohammed Sabiu, Yusuf said the government has to be proactive since Nigerians have lost confidence due to lack of zeal to surmount the challenge.

He described the situation as a period of emergency, calling on all Nigerians to team up and solve the problem.

 

Also speaking on the essence of the prayer session, the Chairman of the Nigerian Association of Women Journalists, Hajiya Fatima Aliyu Mahuta, said it was anchored on asking God for mercy to lift Nigerians out of the problems of banditry, rape, kidnaping and the likes.

She called for more fervent prayers from all and sundry with a view to getting the challenges tackled.
