KADUNA STATE DEFENCE CORPS, VOWS TO BRING LASTING PEACE TO AREAS SUFFERING FROM KIDNAPPINGS

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kaduna State Command says it is battle ready to bring lasting peace to troubled areas suffering under the groans of kidnappings and banditry in the State.
Command Public Relations Officers, ASC Orndiir Terzungwe, who spoke exclusively on Invicta’s Flagship Public Affairs Programme Waka waka said this in the light of the peaceful protests which took place Gonnin –Gora a town located along Kaduna – Abuja express way at Chikun Local Government area of Kaduna state on Saturday.
Residents of the area had blocked the road to protest the frequent kidnap experiences which happens monthly in the area.
In a reaction, the spokesperson sympathized with the people over the incident, admitting that the situation was a dicey one but assured that nipping the scourge will keep driving them on.

Terzungwe gave answers to the question as to what security agencies were doing to prevent the repeat of such ugly experiences.

It would be recalled that 4 persons from the community were taken away from their homes by the bandits on Friday night to an unknown destination.
