Kaduna State Govt vows not to negotiate with bandits, as bandits kill 10 in Chikun and Z/Kataf

The Kaduna State Government has insisted that no negotiation with bandits has been entered despite persistent attacks.

He also explained that the state government in collaboration with the Federal Government is working assiduously to put more boots on the ground especially in the rural communities where most of the attacks occur.

Aruwan’s comments comes shortly after his report that no fewer than ten people were killed after bandits attacked three villages in Zango Kataf and Chikun local government areas of the state.

Chatting with Invicta news, the Secretary of Zangon Kataf Council, Engineer Elisha Dogara Sako said armed bandits in large number Sunday night attacked Kakwa­-Kurmin Gandu village, from house to house silently, using machetes and knifes leaving five people dead and four critically injured.

Sako called on government to provide security so as to contain the situation and forestall future attacks, as the killer bandits vowed to return to the village for another attack.

In another development, security agencies reports that five persons were killed when armed bandits attacked Sabon Gayan and UngwanTurai villages in Chikun local government area.
