The Change of the Service Chiefs has brought with it atrocious effects on the security architecture of the country.
This was the opinion of a public affairs analyst, Dr Usman Abdulrahman, who applauded the move, though lackadaisical noted that the retirement of not than 20 generals and no mandate as well as time frame to nip the security lapses in the bud were the areas of weaknesses of the action.
Abdulrahman, a comrade provided some insights into what can be done in stemming the tide of all the negative narratives about insecurity.
He added the agitations that have continued to prevail in the nation’s public space seem justifiable because of the disconnect between the leadership and the followers.
